changing. It is just on five years since I had the AN surgery, and it left me

with amongst other things, a dry eye. This is a real pain but as long as I keep

up with the drops I seem to be all right. I was told by assorted doctors that

if the tears had not returned after two years at the outside then they never

would. Well, I think they have come back!!!!! Over the last few weeks I have

noticed a small amount of whatever tears are made of seeping from the inner

corner of my eye. I will have to have a good long howl to make extra sure but I

am pretty convinced about this. Am I dreaming or is this really possible?

Amy,

Sorry to hear about your mom's knee. This must be so frustrating for her.

My mil had her hip replaced and put it out 3 times since it was done, yet my

dad has now had both hips completely replaced and never any problem other

than lingering soreness in the first. And he still works hard, climbs

ladders etc. I wonder if these things are just more difficult for a woman's

body?

Here's hoping she won't need another surgery, and if she does, that it won't

have the complications she had before!
