Hi Mitch,

My doctor uses marcaine in the lumbar sympathetic blocks I get and it is

a numbing agent (anesthetic) like novacaine. Usually doctors use

something like celestone along with the marcaine in the blocks which is

an adrenocorticoid (steroid). It sounds like you got a local block to

numb the nerve generating the pain, is that right? I hope it works for

you!

Take care,

Debbie/DJ

Mitch,

I've heard of marcaine but my memory of it is gone.

Wish I could have been of some help to you?

Hugs, Tracey
