Guest guest
I work for Medquist and they do have employees and statutory employees that work at home. Its your choice. They do offer benefits but you have to reach a certain quota every day. Here I think you have to work eight hours a day. They definitely want people that have had at least two years in acute care. They will not take newbies. Good luck Medquist news clarification > I had several responses with these three questions, so I'm going to just send a message to everyone covering both. <G> > > 1. Since they are asking for acute care MTs I would guess they want people with experience in acute care transcription. If you are a new MT with no experience you really could not qualify as being an acute care MT. > > 2. Acute care generally means hospital transcription . This means surgery, ICU, consultations, discharges, H & P, and other hospital transcription covering orthopedics, neurology, and so on. In other words, they need people who can take hospital accounts. > > 3. I think that most MedQuist MTs work from home whether they are employees or statutory employees. But don't quote me on that.
