Dear Friends: I’m asking for your help. Please take a few minutes of your time to contact your elected officials via email or phone. UCP of South Florida desperately need this proposed funding! It is absolutely essential that key legislators hear about the importance of the funding the Governor’s recommended $77,486,777 for additional funding of the current year deficit in the Developmental Services Home and Community Based Services Waiver. And it’s important that they hear this from the people of Florida. After contacting your officials, I ask that you please keep this message going. On the behalf of the 1400 children and adults with special needs that United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida serves, please accept my warmest thanks for your time and help.
