Plastic Surgery Appointment

Hi All!

I wanted to report to you about my appointment Monday with a plastic

surgeon. Her name was Peggy Howrigan and she's in Newton, and I did

like her. We talked about all my areas of redundant skin. She

counseled AGAINST doing anything about the inner thighs--she said the

results are typically not satisfactory or long lasting. She said she

could do my arms and a " mini " tummy tuck at the same time, on an

outpatient basis, and it would cost about $6400 total. Less than I

expected, actually. Not that I have $6400! But, doctor AND hospital

take mastercard.

The " mini tummy tuck " thing.....she said my underlying muscles are

amazing--she wouldn't touch them during surgery--all she would be doing

would be taking away some excess skin. She asked if I exercize, and

commented that she was very surprised at how good my muscles are! See?

Exercize IS good!

I had also made an appointment to see a surgeon down here in the

plymouth area. That appointment is Friday. I'll see what he says, and

then make a decision.
