Guest guest
I had forgotten about that. Now that you remind me I do remember you telling us before about Rob's crappy childhood experiences regarding Christmas, etc.. Isn't that a lousy thing to do to a kid? I'm glad you will be having Christmas this year. Everything will work out okay. Be sure to let me know what you find. hugs)))Sharon I was trying to daydream, but my mind kept wandering. Guest guest
Dear Akiba--my father and my husband were red-green colour-blind; it is a miracle that my one son, of all the children is not! Do not exhaust yourself over all this; it truly is the spirit of it all that counts; Rob is a lucky man! Love, n, who had to help both my father and my husband pick out clothes, and cars! Guest guest
just a suggestion, but how about paper chains from construction paper and glue, popcorn strands, let robin color and cut out pictures from a dollar store coloring book and hang the decorations everywhere if you can't get a tree. Guest guest
We got a tree :-) and some decorations! And even some boxes to go under it! Though for now the cats are taking up that spot, and looking very contented...the tree has a red fluffy tree skirt and they LOVE sitting pretty on it, right there under the tree...sure beats them climbing it! Guest guest
Yea...I finally caught up to the message that you did get a tree and presents. I have not read my email in a week and when I sat down today there was 175 emails, mostly from the group so I've been sitting here for almost two hours reading. I never delete because I'm afraid I'll miss something important. My prayers goes out to cassy's niece and her little angel, Sharon, that is one heck of a way for people to donate food. Glad it did not hit the house! Valene, hope your vision improves. When you said cats, it made me sad. My daughter's cat died week before last and the house is not the same without Tosha. Someone had stole her puppy 2 days before and then her cat died. The saddest part is when she wrote her letter for Santa for kindergarten, she asked him if he found Pudge at one of the houses, would he please bring him back? Broke my heart. Rumor has it a guy stole it, sold it to a man in Oklahoma for some drug money, and now the guy is back in jail and we can't even ask him about it. I hope one of those big guys in prison give him a christmas gift:) Sorry, that was the mom in me talking cause I know we'll have to explain Christmas morning why Santa could not find pudge.
