Guest guest
Hi Mitch, Since you're in California, I can't answer. I'm sure that the laws are different in each state. I know that I can find all of the NJ Statutes online at the official state website, maybe some research on California law would answer you. An Attorney in NJ recently obtained a $2.9 Mil settlement for an RSD patient who was injured at her apartment. Wonderful news that a jury found RSD worthy enough to award such a large amount. The attorney has sent me some of the info he has used in the case, and will be forwarding more. If you find you may need it, just let me know and I'll get copies off to you. Guest guest
Jo, Please send me a copy of the settlement. You could send me the file if you want and I'll print it out on this end. I have the second part of my deposition on the 15 th of this month. The other side has finally agreed to come to Orlando so that I don't have to travel that far. Felice Deb. Guest guest
Anita, Was this a car accident? My lawyer says it doesn't matter that I had back problems before the accident. He says to consider it like a matchstick. My back was bad but I was holding my own, working and enjoying life and then the accident happened, even as slight as mine was The accident caused the matchstick to break. Now I can't work, have RSD everywhere and don't enjoy life like I used to. They have made an offer of $50,000 but that doesn't even cover my medical bills. I am supposed to have part two of my deposition next weeks and then the mediation on April 24. The mediation is where the third party comes in and tries to get you all to settle without going to court. Good luck Felice Deb.
