I am sure Sandi was kidding! I was! Joya PS...even if you aren't pregnant you can't just jump into Tae Bo. You have to do the Instructional and learn the correct moves so you don't injure yourself. Guest guest
And, do you really want to run the risk of a baby born looking like Blanks??? Holy Cow....BTW, I always heard that *sweeping* helps bring on labor. Just be careful not to poke anyone with that broom!! Christabelle RE: Sandi Sandi PLEASE be careful TaeBo is very intense and at 9 months pregnant if you haven't been doing that sort of exercise may be bad for your body not to mention the baby. Why rush nature .. you're still a week or two early it might be best to let your body rest and let the baby finish his growing .. I would just think that excessive jarring and bouncing at this stage can not be healthy and would definitely run this by your doctor before attempting it. Guest guest
I was hoping it was a joke but just in case wanted to voice my concern. My sil is due the around the same time (Aug 3) and I've been listening to her for days now trying every " home remedy " for bringing on labour and she is serious! Where are you feeling this hunger? Above teh line (in your head), or below the line (in your belly)? Maybe stop and really pay attention for a few minutes. If it's in your belly, go ahead and keep eating, and don't freak out too much about it. Trust that your body will regulate itself. And, if it's in your head, maybe you could journal what's going on in your life right now... what possible causes are there for your wanting to keep eating? Just some thoughts. Guest guest
It was definitely in the belly and it was definitely hunger. But, I had no access to food, so I had to tell it " no " . Then, I got to busy to stop and eat. By the time I got home, I wasn't hungry anymore. > > As much as I want to respect my body and honor my hunger, my > hunger is being quite demanding and unreasonable. Guest guest
Sandi, I had an experience that may or may not be helpful to you here in regard to hunger that does not see to go away. On Friday, I had to eat dinner really late. So, I was extremely hungry. I immediately started to eat tortilla chips and salsa (we were at a tex-mex restaurant). After 3-4 chips, I was already full...I felt really stuffed. My food ally was thinking " what the heck! this is not enough food for your active life, girl " Fortunately, the entrees took a pretty long time (30 min), and I was hungry (to a lesser degree than before) again by the time they came. I ate a normal amount of the entree to acheive fullness...that lasted. So, my theory is that when you get REALLY hungry and your stomach is completely empty that it shrinks back to its smallest size...about the size of a fist. So, you start to feel full REALLY quickly when you start to eat. Then, after sometime, your stomach stretches a bit and you feel hungry again because you really haven't fueled yourself properly. I theorize that this is how you can feel hungry again shortly after eating. I hope that made some sense. Maybe this is why you felt hunger that didn't go away...because you allowed your stomach to get completely empty? Amy > > It was definitely in the belly and it was definitely hunger.
