Guest guest
Hi Tammy - Probably what you're looking for is a decreased sensation in both feet in a stocking-glove distribution. Hope that helps! It was a dark and stormy night on 08:59 PM 2/24/01 -0500 when Tammy and wrote: >Can anybody tell me if this is correct. Guest guest
OK, Dory, first thing to do is...go ahead and cry. And, let everybody see you do it. For heaven's sake, girl, you can't carry the world around on your shoulders right now. And, tears can help relieve the stress you are experiencing. Letting stress build up will only make your symptoms much worse. Also, find something soft to kick around for a while (not something alive, though), and kick or punch the living Hell out of it. I got one of those blow up punching bags, and wear oven mitts to protect my hands. Looks silly, but it works. Also, I write, write, write about how I feel physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. What I'm eating, not eating, who I want to murder, etc. It really helps to put it down on paper. Then I either hold a little ceremony and burn it and let the smoke take the problems up the chimney, or I keep it awhile and see if things don't look better in a day or two. Of COURSE this disease is lousy. Of COURSE this disease sucks the big one. Of COURSE we all want to kick the dog, hang our loved ones, and kill our doctors, but we are mostly civilized beings who have been dealt a rotten hand...so we play the hand we are dealt and go for it...or bluff like mad. LOL Our site owner and fearless leader, Deanna, has a little Lupies prayer that is right on the money: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the doctors who told me it was all in my head. .. or something like that. Anyway, I think it is pretty accurate. Please take care, get some meds for depression, and keep on keeping on. Hugs, MM
