Guest guest
Hi All: Donna, my son regressed and lost two years of ABA skills after his Kindergarten boosters...screamed for six months, threw tantrums...broke our hearts after all that hard work. I feel for your family...I know the pain. The pediatric immunologist who saw my son literally said to me " I've heard alot of stories about vaccines and autism from so many parents...and of all of them, YOURS is the MOST convincing I've ever heard. But, the theory is not proven " ...then he proceeded to run allergy tests on my son and we never saw him again. I'm quite certain it wasn't allergies that caused my son to regress twice...once into autism, the second time even more devastating. In hindsight, I realize that he also regressed, but with more physical symptoms, between two and three years of age...but now that I think about it...it was also probably from the two year vaccines he received. I HAVE filed VAERS reports...not that it really does any good. It's all just on file, if you know what I mean! But I have recently considered joining in on one of the class action suits... I wouldn't even do that, except that we've had to treat our kids...and it's expensive...and given the situation we find ourselves in, I am home dealing with therapists, IEP's, treatment plans...therefore, I CAN'T work...and my husband has been borrowing from to pay ...(literally jumping through hoops) to try and get what the kids need! All of it makes me SICK. And I'm sick of autism! If it weren't for those parents of older kids (mine's 7 1/2) with autism, I wouldn't have the drive to go any further in the fight! They inspire me to keep up the fight... Even if I do have a breakdown at least twice a year! All My Best, (Mom to Six - yes, six!) (Oh yes...when my son was screaming during the second regression, they actually told me " it's because he's autistic " !) ..>>, They knew exactly what they were doing. Pls take a look at the 8/2001 Consumer reports Magazine. The injury compensation board did not come into existence until something like 1988. Why? Because just prior to that the DPT (original) either seriously injured or killed 22% of it's recipients. They needed protection in order to continue the vaccine program for the pharmecuticals. The injury compensation board is simply a method of protecting the MD's and big medicine. I have a newpaper article on the DPT facts and figures if you are interested I can mail it to you. The 22% number is a number from a bonafide study, they refer to it as a whooping cough (pertusis) vaccine, (p/o the DPT) Consumer reports calles in " no fault insurance " . People like you and me are left holding the bag with our injured children. Bob Meyer " , Human Resources " wrote: > Donna, > The same thing happened to me.
