Guest guest
Okay, I can't believe I'm going to say this. LOL What you just said is me. No, no, not that I'm the ghostly figure sneaking around your home, but that I do "see" something like this, too. lol It's not the sort of "seeing things" where there is a vivid image, or I think something/someone is really there. It's just a catch of something out of the corner of my eye, or as I'm turning around, etc. What could be a face or a figure is what sticks in my mind. Sometimes it's startled me. LOL I figure it's either some strange part of whatever (fatigue, or goodness knows what lol) or I have a lot of Angels hanging out at my place. ROFL Shadows running past in your peripheral vision. Yup, that sounds like it. <g> Now, here's a story for ya. LOL Our property was once part of a total 80 acres. They split it to two forties some years back. Ours is the side where the house was built. Some years after it was built, they split and eventually sold this parcel. We bought it from the fellow who bought it first. The second parcel has recently sold and those people are putting in a home, too. Nice people! They like squash and that's good. LOL (When they first came up here, "camping" on their new place, we had only a mess of summer squash from our garden and took a bag of it over... no fruit and no basket, but welcome anyway LOLOL). Anyway... the story... the man who'd built the house had apparenly died some years ago. He's to have been buried on either that half or our half. Tale has it, it's the other half (this is more than a "legend" apparently). The woman who lived here just before us said she was scared to death because the man was buried here somewhere. LOL I'm thinking, if some dead dude wants to haunt you, he might be willing to travel and it doesn't just have to be from his "space" in the back twenty. LOL Now, when my Sis-in-Law, Addy, came up we had fun with her. She's too easy to scare, though, and has a bit of a heart issue so we fight the urge incredibly. LOL However, we didn't know of the ease or problems with scaring her until after she'd been told of the man buried around here, by one of the helpful children, then I looked quick to the window nearest her, eyes wide as if I'd seen something, and she threw herself into the corner and onto the floor, screaming. ROFL I never did that again. <g> She also screamed when she saw my long braid flip over my shoulder. Poor Addy. LOL Maybe it's old Jim I'm seeing, comin to visit? LOLOL (Yes, that is a joke). Guest guest
I am so glad to know that I am not the only one with "visitors". Like you said, it is a periferal vision thing - I have optic neuritis so maybe that is part of it. I think it is really just the MS thogh - it is so similar to Parkinsons, it is probably a thing that both have. It really doesn't really bother me - maybe after the tisabri it will go away. Guest guest
I have had the same thing happen. I'll get a "glimpse" of something out of the corner of my eye. When I jerk my head to see what it is there's nothing there. Now something else that happens to me (and I've never told a soul) is I see vivid scenes when I go to bed but before I start to drift off to sleep. It happens before I'm asleep and I know I'm awake. But I close my eyes and I see a scene. Each time it's something different and it's like seeing something happen to someone or (I hate to say it) like seeing a vision. It's always something very real and something that is foreign to me (nothing I've seen before). Now it's always something real except for last night. Last night at first it was native jungle women sitting in a group. They had black hair pulled back at the nape of the neck and bare breasted. Nothing odd about that. But then several of the women had 3 breasts. So that one was very odd-- but usually it's something very real. I have no idea why this happens. I'm probably insane (like my poor daughter.... Guest guest
Sharon, I have visions too. My mom and DH know, but I don't tell everyone. Mainly, because once I saw my friends father die, and told my best friend (I was 17), and the next day in our choir class, my teacher told us that Danny's father had to have a triple bypass, after a heart attack, but was doing well. I figured my "dream" was wrong and just a strange coincidence. The next day my choir teacher told us that Danny would be out for a few days, because his father had died, after his aorta burst. They had said he would be fine. My friend gave me this look, like I was a freak. I felt soooo guilty, almost like it was my fault, because I saw that it would happen. I couldn't look Danny in the face again. My dream was, that I walked into this "office", and saw Danny cleaning out his father's desk. I asked him what he was doing and he said that his father died, so he was clearing out his things. I couldn't figure out what the office meant though. I didn't know his dad. My choir teacher said that Danny's family wanted our honor choir to sing at his funeral. It turned out that Danny's dad was an elder in the church (mormon, I think) and he had an office there. That was the office in my dream. It really freaked me out. So, I don't tell my "dreams" to many very often. Strange about the 3 breasted jungle women. lol. Trista Re: PJ / seeing things? Last night at first it was native jungle women sitting in a group. They had black hair pulled back at the nape of the neck and bare breasted. Nothing odd about that. Guest guest
Isn't there a joke about God removing the third breast and then trying to figure out what to do with the useless boob and creating *man* out of it? :{Apologies to all men on this list, you are Not useless, not at all!!} Peace and Blessings ~*~ Akiba ~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://yodamamma.blogspot.com/ http://www.solay-twinflames.com -- Re: PJ / seeing things? Guest guest
Creepy thing to have happen to you when you were just a kid, huh? Have you had other things like that happen to you? My grandmother also "saw" what was going to happen. It happened to her many times. Some things were portending death of people she knew and other bad stuff. But, a funny story: my Mom and I would go to visit Grandmother when she lived several hours away. Mom would never tell her we were coming and would always try to "sneak up" on her. Every time we got there Grandmother would say "I new you were coming so I baked a cake". She would have a full meal prepared and a coconut cake on the glass cake plate (that she only used for company). I don't know why I would see a 3 breasted jungle woman though. Maybe I was 'visioning' a Picasso painting. I am an artist (I feel funny saying that) but I haven't painted in 10 years. I keep wanting to paint again but I just don't make myself do it. Maybe my "visions" are the paintings I'm supposed to do? lol Sharon Sharon (MSersLife Group Owner/Creator) It's not easy taking my problems one at a time when they refuse to get in line. ~Ashleigh Brilliant Re: PJ / seeing things? Guest guest
OK, I did n't tell ou this before but I sometimes see some of my ancesters, who were gypsies and medicine women (people came 100s of miles to get their medical "cures" and they sometimes speak to me but usually just let me know they are there. I saw my husband right after he died. He came to me across the room, smiled, said he was fine, and went away. I haven't seen him since. I haven't seen my son, but I do feel his presence and his hand on my left shoulder at times. I guess it's okay to share this as it isn't any nuttier than seeing three breasted jungle women!! Guest guest
So now you're calling me nutty, huh PJ? lol.... I have decided I was "visioning" a Picasso style painting. My father lived next door to me and he used to walk over and sit on my front porch. After my father died I sometimes saw him come to my front porch and he would smile at me and sit down in his chair. I guess we're all nutty here or as suggested by someone (?) the lesions in our brain gives us these abilities. Guest guest
I keep thinking of that three breasted jungle woman..... I normally do landscapes but maybe I will sketch it out and see how it works. Maybe that's what my "visions" are ---my future paintings. LOL Sharon (MSersLife Group Owner/Creator) It's not easy taking my problems one at a time when they refuse to get in line. ~Ashleigh Brilliant Re: PJ / seeing things? Guest guest
I can attest to the fact, not opinion, that my Mother is nutty. You go ahead and call her nutty if ever you are inclined. LOL Some years ago, and over a long period of time, there were several times my Mother would call me out of the blue to check on me. One time I remember she'd told me she woke to the sound of my voice calling her name. In concerned and serious tones, she asked "are you okay?" Whomever called her name from sleep, knew I need my Mom. wrote: do not think you are "nutty" - you are obviously a very open and spiritual person - the kind of person I would definitely like to be friends wth even if it is only over the internet. My mom sometimes "sees" things, too. Like when my grandmother died, my mother came in and woke me up to take her to see grandma - said if she waiting until morning it would be too late. Well, she was right. She had a heart attack that night and died. She isn't as open to these things are but does not shut them out, as she saw what my great grandmother could see and do and all of the people who came from 100s ofmiles to talk to her. I can feel so many spirits areound me now- it's kind of scary - like my time is near, but I am sure they are trying to confort me. I'm having a bad day - can't see worth a dime, falling a lot and having to ues my walker instead ofmy cane, have th shakes, and just generally feel like everyone and noone else in the group - what a c rappy disease this is!!!! Anyway, I think it is fun to "play" with the spirits and am glad I have some who care. M psychic told methat my husband is waiting for me to cross over so he can be with me again - truly nothing to be excited about.. LOL to everyone and here's to many more good days than bad. (Oh, thney changed my tisabri injection date to 08/26 instead of 08/25. I'll be sure to let you know aobut any side effects or anything I might feel If I don't feel up to it, I wil have my daugher write.
