Guest guest
Thanks Challis. I don't want to go first! (pouting) The neuro I saw in May said he could do more tests, including a spinal MRI, but it would be a "waste of time". Guest guest
OOOOWWWWW. Dr's make me so mad!!!! There is still the "insignificant" single lesion and my neuro wants me to see a shrink. Tell that one to my bladder since I have to cath and the urologist dx'd me with neurogenic bladder. But then he said he can't explain that. ' Apparently crazy in TexasTrista wrote: Lol. Guest guest
Your reply has me really ticked off. WTH do they think thay are? "insignificant"? There is steam pouring out my ears. My Dr. also said my bladder trouble is neurogenic. I refused to go back to the Psych, because she was a flake that kept giving me relaxation CD's and "homework" to help me feel better. Guest guest
You know how they say you have really wild reflexes if it's ms because of the spasicity, when he hit my right knee it almost kicked him in the face and he went WOW. It's bullshit(sorry guys, there I go speaking my mind)I'm a nurse and have been for 11 yrs. For a Dr. to have such disrespect for my education is beyond me. And the first dr I worked for was the BEST. She came from Canada and there they didn't have office nurses soo she taught me everything. She wanted me to go to med school but I told her "No, I see how much you work" She says if it walks like a duck, it quacks like a duck, then it's a duck. For someone to tell me I have unresolved issues from my childhood when he has a neuropsych eval in front of him that says I DO NOT need any therapy or counseling. I'm fixing to do the same thing I did the other three times I have had the "episodes", do what I want, and fix it the way I know how. The one thing I don't understand is he says I still need to be followed by a neurologist because I have definite neurological deficits. Wait a minute doc, I thought you said it was all in my head? Have any of ya'll seen the movie "The Doctor" with Hurst? If you haven't it's a good show of a dr becoming human. Thanks for listening to me vent. When I left his office I got caught in an 1 1/2 hr traffic jam so it took me twice as long to get home. ' Pissed off in Texas!!!!!Trista wrote: Your reply has me really ticked off. Guest guest
Oh, ', that's easy! When I first met the Neuro, a Student came and spoke with me first. We talked of symptoms, one being bladder shtuff. Well, don't you know, I have children so of course that happens. <eg> Neuro did explain to Student that MS carries some bladder issues. This was good. LOLOL I've given birth, therefore I have a bladder which might dribble or might refuse to let go. I have breastfed, therefore I have all the symptoms of MS that aren't really symptoms of MS. "[breastfeeding] is a nobel effort, but..." Remember that time you had an extra pickle on your cheesburger and the onion fell off before you could eat it? Yes, that's why you have these problems. Please, deposit four hundred and ninety-five dollars with my receptionist on your way out. Challis Trimm wrote: OOOOWWWWW. Dr's make me so mad!!!! There is still the "insignificant" single lesion and my neuro wants me to see a shrink. Even though the neuropsychologist wrote in his report that I was stable and he felt this was because of the lesion. I'm sooo mad I could just spit. My neuro says it's all psycogenic. Tell that one to my bladder since I have to cath and the urologist dx'd me with neurogenic bladder. But then he said he can't explain that. LOL Yeah, great comfort, huh? ROFL Now we'll see which of us makes the next move and actually *trusts* another Neuro enough to allow them to see us. Okay, you go first. I've decided just to tell my primary that! I just want to treat my sx's, because I'm sick of this already. I know how Challis feels.
