I've read all the Harry Potter books and I got such a good laugh out of Any's description of her pain. Voldemort! But, Amy, do you have the scar to go with that pain?!?

Seriously, Amy, do you have other facial pain? Jaw/ear pain? Unexplained tooth or sinus pain? If so, you may have Trigeminal Neuralgia. It used to be considered pretty rare with MS but they now know that the percentage of MSers with Trigeminal Neuralgia is something like 45%. With non MSers Trigeminal Neuralgia is normally on one side only but with MSers it's usually both sides (it can switch back and forth). I read a medical publication recently saying if a patient presents with Trigeminal Neuralgia pain on both sides the physician should suspect MS.

Now as to Harry Potter---If anyone here hasn't read the Harry Potter books I would highly recommend them. My 11 year old grandson is an avid reader and has read the books three times each. I think he will read them all again, too. Interspersed with Harry Potter he still reads other stuff (most recently biographies of Geronimo and Pocahontas, and Buffalo Bill, Red Badge of Courage...) He will often have 2 or 3 books going at the same time. Anyway he talked me into reading the first Harry Potter book and I was hooked. Excellent books!

Voldemort has taken over my legs but I'm fighting it! I started taking Cymbalta several weeks ago and I am seeing a difference in the pain level at night. I take 60 mg. of Baclofen and a clonazapam at bedtime with the Cymbalta and I'm seeing a real improvement. I still have burning, aching pain but it's not as bad as it was. I can sleep through the pain better now.

Re: Re:Opinion

Well, you asked for opinions, and you got 'em!!!

Itching...sometimes my head has itched but in a really funny way, it is like the *inside* itches, it isn't the scalp, it is inside! I can't really explain it...

Peace and Blessings
