Reports on what it does contain in the way of cortisol vary. Yet is does seem to contain some, by all accounts. My doctor says Bezwecken does not publicize how much, because the amount is not standardized and therefore may vary greatly from pellet to pellet and batch to batch. Any other glandular you buy out there which is adrenal glandular will most likely tell you right on the bottle that it contains no adrenal hormone, only the gland itself, just like thyroid glandulars sold OTC...and yet, I got a certain amount of help from the thyroid glandulars from the health food store before I could get thryoid hormones..there is a lot of value in the glandulars. Guest guest
In psychiatric terms it is called, " Post Traumatic Stress Disorder " aka PTSD. PTSD is what results when someone survives something that their own mind cannot readily accept. There are a lot of things that go into it, but typically, the person who has it is not immediately aware that anything is wrong. Getting over PTSD can take a very long time. Been there. Still not done with that. Guest guest
Last Jan 16 (can't believe it's been almost a year) I was driving to work and the next thing I know I am waking up in a hospital. A 17 year old girl ran a red light and broadsided me on the drivers side door and totalled my car (a Subaru.) I had bleeding on my brain and had to spend the night in the neurological ICU. I missed close to 2 weeks of work and the only lasting side effect is a short term memory problem. BUT the neuro psychologist I was seeing said I had PTSD. This Dr was whacked though. I had mentioned that I was still leery of going through that intersection and she thought I should stay home from work for 6 - 8 weeks. Uhm even before the accident I was leery about this intersection. And IF I had stayed home from work based on what she said and the neurologist said I could have ended up losing my job. I would have had to prove I was disabled and couldn't work and as I had been working all this time they wouldn't have been able to prove I needed to stay home. Needless to say I changed both Drs. Sheesh. I go in Feb for a follow up MRI. And I am hoping that the money I might be getting from a personal injury clain can be used to move into a townhouse. Guest guest
Then you probably do not have PTSD. After all, you were leery of this intersection before the accident. If PTSD was a problem, you would be reliving the accident or portions of the recovery experience that immediately followed it. A classic demonstration of a PTSD-based response is to see a war veteran hit the ground during the fourth of July fireworks because the sounds remind him of the combat experience. Best wishes on the follow-up MRI. Hopefully, the rest of this legal stuff will move along smoothly and you can return to a " normal " life (whatever " normal " is for you, that is).
