Guest guest
Hey All, I just got done with my 1st and hopefully last RAI yesterday..was in isolation since Monday. Anyways, since then I have had a VERY sore throat, feels like someone is pricking me with needles back there. Is that a common thing to occur after RAI? Also, any ideas on how to get rid of the pain? I tried drinking hot chocolate, freezing water, sour candy, cough drops and I thought about taking advil but didn't want to take another med. My radiologist also put me on medril or medrol, not sure of the name, but it is a steroid for help on inflammation since I had some in my neck on the second day. So um any suggestions on how to heal my throat like ASAP would be so awesome. Thanks guys! ~Holly
