Hi,

Congratulations on your son, and welcome to the group. I don't really have

any answers for your questions, other than to say I hope your Dr. is going

to offer some insight, as well as the appropriate tests to determine what

your anomaly is. Was your double uterus detected by US during pregnancy?

Keep us posted about what your diagnosis is.

Thanks ! I was getting scared that no one was

going to reply.

No, we had no idea about the anomaly until afterwards.

I am confused why it was not seen and am going to

ask. On my visit to the Dr right before I went into

labor, I was worried because i had never felt Luke

move and he had always been on my right side. Now we

know why....

I am so glad I found this group, because it seems like

there is no information out there.

Hi :

I just read your post. I just learned that I have to go for a biopsy

that I have a category 4 which is microcalcification in both breasts

that are a strong suspicion for malignancy. I am like you I am

scared to death and can't stop thinking about this. I am so pleased

that I found this group on Yahoo and can't wait for the first session

on Monday. I am wondering what kind of biopsy I will get. Please

try and stay positive that is what my hubby keeps telling me, there

is so much wonderful medicine now things have really changed. I do

hope that I hear from you, and get to see you in the chat room.

! I'm so glad you found us. Someone here can answer any

question you have. Between all of us someone will have an answer. Please keep

us posted. BC is not a death sentence anymore. You may have a long journey

....but their is light at the end. Sending you prayers and angels to be with

you til you are thru. This is one of my favorite poems. It hasn't been posted

for a while.

No, you're not alone, I'll go with you.

I know the road well, I've been there.

Don't fear the darkness, I'll be with you.

We must take one step at a time.

But remember we may have to stop awhile.

It's a long way to the other side and there are many obstacles.

We have many stones to cross.

Some are bigger than others.....SHOCK, DENIAL, and ANGER to start.

Then comes GUILT, DESPAIR and LONELINESS.

It's a hard road to travel but it must be done.

It's the only way to reach the other side.

Come, slip your hand in mine.

What? Oh yes, it is strong.

I've held many hands like yours.

Once, you see, I had to take someone's hand in order to take the first step.

Oops! You've stumbled. Go ahead and cry.

Don't be ashamed, I understand.

Let's wait here awhile and get your breath.

When you're stronger, we'll go on, one step at a time.

There's no need to hurry.

Say, it's nice to hear you laugh.

Yes, I agree, the memories you shared are good.

Look, we're halfway there now,

I can see the other side.

It looks warm and sunny.

Oh, have you noticed?

We're nearing the last stone and you're standing alone.

And look, your hands, you've let go of mine and we've reached the other side.

But wait! Look back. Someone is standing there.

They are alone and want to cross over the stepping stones.

I better go, they need my help.

What? Are you sure? Why, yes, I'll wait.

You know the way, you've been there.

Yes, I agree, it's your turn, my friend, to help someone else cross the

stepping stones.

Hi ,

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis of cancer. I know how hard it is

to hear those words, I passed out in the surgeons office when I

heard those words - LOL. Once you see the surgeon, you'll have more

answers to your questions about the type of cancer and options for

surgery and treatments. Write down your questions and bring someone

with you - it's hard to remember everything when your still trying to

deal with hearing the word cancer. My thoughts are with you and keep

us informed on how you are doing.

,

I'm sorry to hear that you have breast cancer. My prayers are sent

your way to give your strength to get through what's ahead. It has

been a year for me since I was diagnosed and I remember those

same feelings that you described. I did the same thing, went on the

internet to find out all that I could. I found a great site...

http://www.susanlovemd.com/ and also purchased the Love

Breast Book. Both very informative and helped me understand

some of the terminology being used in the pathology reports. I

found that the more knowledge that I gained, the more power and

strength was gained to get me through it.

Welcome to this group... I do not post all that much but I read all of

the posts. The support is wonderful and it helps to share your

thoughts fears with people who have gone through similar

experiences.
