Guest guest
Hi everyone Okay, so I couldnt wait anymore. I was throwing up 2 days ago, the scent of my husbands cologne is making me sick to my stomach. I have PG symptoms so I went ahead and took a pg test 3 days early, using my concentrated morning urine and it was POSITIVE. So, today I already went to the obgyn for my blood work for hcg and progestrone and I will go back monday 72 hours for another. The levels will probably be low because its an early pregnancy by hopefully it will be health. I asked the bitchy nurse when I get my first US and she said 8 weeks, doesnt that sound too late? Please write back vanessa I am clueless as to what goes on from this point all I know is that Morning sickness sucks!!!
Guest guest
, Oh my gosh! Congratulations! I am soo happy for you! 8 weeks for an u/s (if the bhcgs come back rising appropriately) is acceptable. It is only when the levels don't rise that you need an early u/s. If you get too eager for one, talk to your doctor-he may be more understanding than the " bitchy " nurse! Please let us know as soon as you hear something! Take care, Krista
Guest guest
, Congratulations! I am so jealous of you (but in a good way!) When you asked the nurse how long before your u/s, did she know that you have a previous ep. That could be one reason for it being so late. Just ask your dr Monday. Guest guest
, What wonderful news............I am so happy for you and yes, I think the Dr. should do an u/s as soon as your HCG goes up to the right level that the sac can be seen. This way, you will be able to know that the baby is in utero and not in the tube. What great news:)

Guest guest
: Congrats! You are in for a nerve wracking few weeks until you can see your little one in the right place, but it will go quickly! Given your history your doctor should do an early u/s between 51/2-61/2 weeks. Ask him for it. Insist on it. Remind him of your history. You need to have hcg monitored closely too. be a bitch right back if you have to. The nurse is going by " normal " standards. You aren't and shouldn't be treated in the normal manner. You need some extra attention since you have had previous ectopics. Your doctor has to be the one to order these u/s though. Don't deal with the nurses for stuff like this. Go right to the main source - the doctor if he doesn't see the need, get another doctor! Take care! Guest guest
, Congratulations!!! I am so thrilled for you. I have my fingers crossed and a prayer going up for you. I wish that they would give you an US sooner than 8 weeks. Your weakness is your husband's cologne and mine was buttermilk. It made me so sick to even see the stuff. I never liked it in the begining but my husband and mother in law love it. They were drinking some the night before I had my surgery and I begged them to put it away and my mother in law kept asking me if I wanted some and I couldn't take it. I made a quick trip to the bathroom and stayed to myself for a while until the feeling passed. I am so happy for you! Nora Positive pg test(PG MENTIONED) Hi everyone Okay, so I couldnt wait anymore.
