Lori,

Thanks for listing these different types of exercise. Most of them sound

like they are very low impact which is good for rsd'ers. I wish I could get

out to go to some of these but I cannot drive right now. I have not driven

in 2 years due to this damn disease.

It was funny that you wrote " rehab prison " . I always refer to the hospital

as medical prison. What caught my eye on your post was where you said that

you have seen some improvement in your calf. I have been on crutches for 2

years and my calf muscle is gone. Also I have osteporosis in that leg. I

have already had one fracture in a bone in my foot and all I did was to stand

and put a LITTLE weight on it. Oh well, it has healed without any problems.

I have been having pt through out these 2 years but it has not been

consistent due to many complications, and subsequent hospital stays. Are you

able to walk?

I am very sorry to hear that your doc is stingy with the pain meds. There is

no excuse for allowing people to suffer with pain. Don't you just " wish

away " your pain to the doc for a while? Let him see how it feels!!!!!!! I

hope you have a good experience with the new MD. Just out of curiosity,

where or what did your RSD originate from? What parts of your body are

affected?

Well take care,

Jai
