Guest guest Posted June 1, 2004 Report Share Posted June 1, 2004 No meeting for me as I was excused for a dental appointment. Yes, still problems with that tooth. NOW I have to go to hospital to get it cut out as the oral surgeon wouldn't do it in his office. The root is wrapped around my sinus. When the swelling went down the tooth is all broken up. I knew it was even though x=rays said it wasn't. I hope that you'll be able to get it taken care of VERY soon. I'm such a wuss when it comes to any kind of tooth pain. My dentist thinks I'm a loon, but I swear that it hurts to have my teeth cleaned... maybe its the noise, I don't know. Anyway, this past September I had him numb my entire mouth to clean my teeth. Yup.... lots of shots of novacaine. I'd rather have pain from shots then from scraping on my teeth! I wasn't aware that for either the top or the bottom teeth - can't remember which- they can't numb whole sections with one shot.... I had to get a shot over EACH TOOTH! I think my mouth was still numb the next day! I had to use my fingers to pinch my lips closed around a straw, and even then I still druled all over myself. Sending you (((((big hugs)))))!
