I can relate to a lot of what you are saying, yet I think 12SP have their good points as well. If the world operated on the same theory as the 12 steps (with or without the HP) it would be a lot nicer place. Having defeated several different addictions over the years, my recent experience of relapse makes me believe in the progressive part very strongly. I have recently been introduced to AVRT and am greatly relieved that I NEVER have to drink again...knowing that I only have to do it for today. Interesting about Amazon books. Doesn't the money all spend the same, mainstream theory or not?
