Guest guest
I am sorry to hear of her loss and saddened that I never got to know her as one of our own. This just reinforces the reality that so many of us reach out to each other and that this list is larger than the just the amount of e mail we get each day. It is also like a family dinner table, There are the loud intense discussions, The softer napkin wiping discussions, The few that nod off after the main meal but wake up for desert discussions. There are the few who are always there to clean up the dishes type discussions but if ANYONE pushes back their chair and leaves an empty spot, The entire table looks and stands silent. I hold my glass and raise a toast to ALL our family who sit at our table!!! I'm sorry , I just feel so teary today and so happy to have known all of you however so briefly. Guest guest
This is horrible horrible news , just so sad indeed! Jill I haven't been able to work on the computer for the past few months, so I'm not sure if anyone was yet aware. Yesterday I received a call from someone in our local EDS support group who informed me of the death of Beverly Colton on 8/19/01. She joined ceda maybe 6 months ago or so, I beleive her e-mail address was Beka@.... She was 40 years old, with EDS, rheumatoid arthritis, and a previous history of cancer. For quite some time she was suffering with congestive heart failure. The doctors kept saying there was nothing that could be done, so she went home to enjoy whatever time she had. She drove from LI, NY to some friends upstate and collapsed when she got there. She died shortly thereafter. My condolences to everyone who had the chance to know this strong, spunky, caring friend.
