Bonnie if it works I would leave it on as much as possible..... I think

I will get mine out tomorrow and see if I can get some relief

somewhere...... Do you put them right on the spot that hurts the most.

What they had me do is put the tens on areas above the pain and below it

on my back, but with the rsd I can only put them on the top of my head

and the floor if I do it that way so I am not sure where to place the

leads. lol

Are you on Neurotin for the burning pain and if so how much do you take.

I think that is the only thing that saves me sometimes...... Now

yesterday was really bad especially after having to go down 3 flights of

stairs, The fire alarm went off and me not knowing the rules for here

and if there really was a fire I stumbled down them....... So today I

have been really hurting but I have been trying to sleep most of the day

to get my mind off it.

Take care and I hope the tens works, and if the kids call 911 when you

stand on your head just play along with them..... go on to the hospital

and get pain shot.

So, how did it go?

My sister in law collects dolls. I know she has had some antiques restored

with new heads and all. LOL

I wish I could get a new head, I am almost an antique!

I have just recently started taking celexa, it is 2 wks, now, and today I

start a full pill. It is supposed to make me hungry, which it has I guess. It

is also supposed to help with sleep. Well, not yet. I am going back next week

for a script fore trazadone. I asked about Xanadu and she said absolutely no.

It is one of the " clock watcher " drugs as she put it.

Other than that I am still trying to stay as warm as possible, it is cold

here in New England.

dolls myself. Most are porcelain dolls dressed in the

n era. I have a number of antique dolls I've

picked up at flea markets and yard sales. I am trying

to teach myself to sew and have several doll dress

patterns to do. I also have patterns to make the

dolls, too and a couple of doll kits to make a doll.

I haven't yet started them yet as I'm still learning.

I'm making a dress with the help of my mom's friend

and I am also teaching myself to quilt. Made my first

block yesterday...not bad for my first try.

I also collect Gone With The Wind items and have

quite a big collection.

If you're up to emailing today let me know how you

are doing okay. Sending good thoughts your way and

Hello everyone. I have a situation I need feed-back for. I was diagnosed in

march of 2000. Recently I went to an I.M.E. and

the doctor there told me everything was done. no more O.T., no more P.T.,

she said I should get off the duregesic and get back to work.

She has scheduled me for a bone scan and x-rays to rule out RSD. (injury is

to right hand) She also said " no pain , no gain "

with RSD. Has anyone had a re-eval like this? What should I look for? What

should I expect? any help would be appreciated.

I have never had an IME for RSD and I wish I could be of dome help. I am sure

others can guide you. Jo is usually good with these type of problems.

Oh, I hope you don't take the patch off without your doctors telling

you to. The IME is not our prescribing doc right?

I think the woman is not a doctor but someone who escaped and is pretending

to be one. No pain, No gain went out with the 80's. Ask a physical

therapist. Run do not walk, away from this woman.

I had my bone scan yesterday.They did a total body and measured the

circulation to the extremities.It was weird.The results will be back on

Friday when I see my rehab doctor.

I hope all is well with each of you.I'll let you know.

I saw the dentist today.I have an abcessed back tooth.He wants to either pull

it or do a root canal and crown.What is the belief with RSD and these two

options?

Gwen I have no idea. Most of the names seem to have the letters RSD in

them, mine doesnt. The last one I got I didnt see Debs name. I have

reported it to aol 3 times already and sent the mail to TOSSpam I dont

know who or where these people are and how they got these names. I am sorry

you are getting them too, but believe you me, I didnt have anything to do
