Lori,

I've taken Darby to see Dr. Kenna several times, she was the one who was

able to determine that in addition to having a progressive loss from cmv, that

Darby was

also having fluctuations from an autoimmune response in her inner ear.

I would also reccomend that if you're going to ask for an eeg, request a 24

hour one, Darby had several when she was younger, they're easy to perform and

there's

more of a chance of picking up seizure activity if it's infrequent than a

standard eeg.
