Guest guest Posted December 30, 1999 Report Share Posted December 30, 1999 Lori, I've taken Darby to see Dr. Kenna several times, she was the one who was able to determine that in addition to having a progressive loss from cmv, that Darby was also having fluctuations from an autoimmune response in her inner ear. I would also reccomend that if you're going to ask for an eeg, request a 24 hour one, Darby had several when she was younger, they're easy to perform and there's more of a chance of picking up seizure activity if it's infrequent than a standard eeg.
