Very Sore Throat/Slight Fever after Biopsy - Is this Normal?

Four days ago I had a thyroid biopsy that came back positive for

papillary cancer. My throat has been very sore for the last 3 days

(hard to swallow) and I've been running a low grade fever (100') for

a day now. My doctor said that the soreness is normal and that the

fever is most likely unrelated. Should I be concerned? Did anyone

else have a similar experience?

I had a biopsy 7 years ago that came back negative. I never was sore

in the least and had no other adverse reaction.
