Guest guest Posted October 30, 2001 Report Share Posted October 30, 2001 I've read in several places (Dr. West's book?) that this test is inaccurate for diagnosing cancer with fibroids and even uterine cancer and there are lots of false positives. I went for a third opinion, and the doctor said that the chance was so low, that he would just in case, repeat the test for the third time. It went down. They also couldn't see my ovaries, and none of them offered to have an MRI, until I asked for it, after reading on the site, my ovaries looked fine. On an ultrasound they couldn't see them.
