He has not been doing well this week, they are going to try and do a heart cath monday morning and check his bypass and will fix any blockages he has now. Something is going on with his heart. If all goes well with that and he comes through it without major complications.....later in the week, they plan on going ahead and doing a biopsy on his lungs and possibly trying to put in a stent in his anuersym. They are planning on doing these at the smae time because he can't handle the anesestia/ventolator, it will cause more damage to this lungs. If the biopsy shows he does have cancer, they will not proceed with the stent....as the cancer is already too far advanced. They will just leave the anuersyn alone. They believe he has small cell lung cancer, its very agressive and rapidly fatal without chemo treatments and he can not have the chemo. His anuersym has grown a little more since last week too and is in danger of bursting at any time. Either way things go, it is not good. He is in good spirits right now, alert and talking and in no pain right now....other than the angina. I hope he wont be in much pain but I know it is coming. My sister is here from Euless so we are spending as much time with him as we can. This is a very difficult time for both of us as he was both our mom and dad....our mom died when I was only 3 yrs. old and my sister was 18 months old.
