Guest guest
I just wish I knew why some habits are hard to break and others are even harder to acquire!! I know that "they" say after you do something enough it becomes a habit, well in my opinion, that is a crock. Walking I guess that that is a habit I enjoy but drinking water, I can do that for weeks then one day I realise that I haven't been drinking hardly any, same with keeping a food log. That is one habit I would love to stick with as I do much better when I keep one. TOPS Hugs, Gloria Robbins (ukmumintexas@....)TOPS#TX1686,Bastrop. Guest guest
I am with you on that Gloria! I love water and I don't mind drinking it. Sometimes it's hard to get THAT much water in but I usually do it. But one day I'll be sitting there drinking some tea or a Diet Dr Pepper (my drug of choice) and I'm like....I HAVEN'T had any water today! What's up with that? "THEY" say you will develop it into a habit and crave it. When is that going to happen to me? It's been 15 years since I really started drinking water. Hmmmmmm. Oh well. I am drinking a Diet Dr. Pepper right now (my morning coffee) but I will switch to water soon! -----Original Message-----From: Gloria Robbins Sent: Saturday, April 03, 2004 9:12 AMTo: TexasTOPS Subject: Re: Daily Quote #16 I just wish I knew why some habits are hard to break and others are even harder to acquire!! So I know exactly what you are talking about. Guest guest
I love DDP too, it really doesn't taste like diet pop. We were giving the waitress a hard time in Waco because they didn't have any ... what we are in Waco and you don't have diet dr pepper. Didn't make it to the museum, but then I go through Waco at least once a month and haven't made it there yet. I really do need to get back to water, I drink way too much caffeine, DDP, tea (hot for me of course after all I am a Brit) and coffee too. I do get the caffeine free stuff when I think about it, not often enough though. We will have to try to get as many of us as we can in the same hotel next year for SRD, sounds like they are all spread out in San Angelo.
