Guest guest
Janet is doing awesome! She looked almost frantic though when we explained what a backward's weigh in was (We do it after all holiday's that are food related). Poor Janet- I wanted to tell her afterwards to not worry-- but she did, LOL! But she is doing great, isn't she?! A good friend will come and bail you out of jail... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Dang...that was fun!"

Guest guest
May I assume that a " backwards weigh-in " is where you are facing away from the weight recorder and the numbers on the scale? We guess what we think we did during roll call. If we guess correctly, at the awards night (first meeting of the month) we get a charm. Also, I remember where Janet is- she's out of town! She'll be back Saturday evening though. Her son's senior prom... so we should here from her Saturday night or Sunday! Guest guest
>>>HELON WROTE>>>My DIL took us to see the memorial, my son is not ready to go up there yet he said. Four of the men on the wall were in his unit and he was pretty close to them. Had a really good time, came back through Killeen and stopped by Joe & Nik's for an hour or so and then headed home. Maybe next time we can meet someplace for a glass of tea or something. I don't blame your son. I was overwhelmed with emotion and I don't even know any of the soldiers that lost their lives. I'd love to meet you for a glass of tea or something next time you're down this way. When you're coming down, email me ahead of time and I'll privately email you my home and cell phone numbers. I'm glad that you had a good time visiting with your family. (((hugs))) Janet
