he can go to school, church and family gatherings. They are more lenient once

The monitor at this point is more of a punishment and not because my son is

a threat. I am so glad the judge was fair and he said that he felt my son

was a good kid who made a bad choice but has a great future ahead of himself as

long as he made the right choices and uses discipline in what he does. He

believes my son has a great future ahead of him and said he can tell that my

son is a good student with the potential to pursue his goals.

He accepted the probation officers recommendation to be on probation for 1

yr at which time the charge can be brought to court for consideration to

reduce to a misdemeanor. We are all hopeful that it will be as long as my son

follows the court orders and continues to excel academically as he has thus

He has to complete a 3 page essay, follow an 8 pm curfew or be with an adult

I approve of after 8 pm for the next year. ( this is no big deal as he isnt

away from me much ) .

Son is allowed to return to his regular school but has to stay 10 ft away

from the other boy involved. I am thankful that the judge felt my son was not

a threat and allowed him to return to his school. He felt that my son took

his education very seriously and believes he will do good in school. He has to

pay a 100 restitution fine to the court and something like 10-14 days

Community Service.

My son was so worried that he might have to return to juvenile hall. I just

kept my faith and hope in the Lord that my son would be given a fair and not

harsh judgement. We did a lot of praying together and I am thankful that my

son has learned from this experience and is even more dedicated to doing well

in school. He is so happy to get to go back to school tomorrow even though he

gets to go back for finals. LOL but he doesn't mind. He is so thankful the

worst part of this is over and so am I .

have too much prayers. We are looking forward to healing from this and even

his parents, for the freedom to go to school and that he isn't in juvenile

I am very glad to hear this. I'm guessing your son's learned a good

lesson early. I'm glad things turned out well.
