Hey, sweet, Alisa!

Glad to hear things are going well.

Yes, my back is doing well and YESSSSS my surgery is on track for May

20th. My pre-op tests are done! I tested positive for H. pylori so

now I'm on 8 pills a day (6 antibiotics and 2 prevacids) - ick!

Tomorrow is my pre-op appointment with the surgeon. To me, that will

be the big *SIGN* that all is ready to go. Have my nutritional

seminar on Saturday a.m....one-on-one with the nutritionist next

Monday and then smooth sailing into my bowel prep two days before

surgery. Tra la, tra la!

Thanks for asking!

You bet! It can cause ulcers. The presence of it doesn't mean you

have one but they like it gone.

That's the plan. I see her again in July and all I know is that I am

going to do whatever I can within MY power to stay healthy!

Hey

I don't mind every 3 months as long as everything stays the SAME.

The insurance company is definitely getting a work out with me this

year! I plan to start begging for plastics this week!

I did get to work on my bedroom a bit, and have been doing bits and

pieces this week. I am working on trimming the financial fat from

my diet and it's not easy! But it's all a part of the " weight loss "

issues. I never realized that having a cluttered home and life

might also impede my weight loss efforts but now that I am seeing

the forest for the trees...I can see the mental connection.

Back to work!!

You go Alisa! 50 miles... Next you will be doing an adventure race! LOL! I have

total faith that you will be able to do it, though. You have such a good

attitude!

That's the bacteria that can cause ulcers. Just had the test for it Friday,

because I have developed ulcers. YUCK! If you have it, they have antibiotics

that kills it.
