Can you >just start having them at any time in life? I started getting migraines when I was 13 years old. I get two every month. One on the day that I ovulate and one the day before my period starts. In some ways, menopause looks very good to me. My mom's migraines have nearly disappeared since she stopped having regular periods. My migraines incapacitate me. My mum's trigger is chocolate or red wine. I know people who get triggered by coconut.
