Guest guest
My doctor advised that a hair test is inaccurate. Best is a DMPS IV urine challenge, but it's expensive. Next best is the DMSA capsule urine challenge. DMSA is safer, I read, than DMPS, though I felt no ill effects from my first test, which was DMPS. Yes, she should get tested anyway. There are other sources of mercury and it will indicate if she's high in any other heavy metals. It also tests elemental minerals. The DMSA urine challenge cost me $75. Martha
Guest guest
Message #26515 of this message board has several links about DMPS testing for metals. Luke used " The Force " , we can use " The Search " function and mine the message database for past messages. My opinion is that the challenge tests are the way to go and the hair tests are bunk and a waste of time and money. I've seen the DMPS backfire site, which is referenced in message 26515, and wondered why such a nice looking site was up to trash a generally accepted treatment. Someone has to be making money based on the fear caused by the website. Maybe someone selling hair tests put the site up to generate more business for their hair testing? After I had four more DMPS IVs after the challenge IV, and no appreciable problems. I have 32 teeth, no fillings and had mercury in me, likely due to occupational exposures. > > > > Hi Pinda. Guest guest
I have very many Multiple Sclerosis friends who have had their dental work checkout and amalgam fillings replaced with either ceramic or gold it had seen no change in their medical diagnosis.
