I just wanted to send you all big ((HUGS)) today. I know how hard it is

to

have " her " arrive when it is the last thing you want! We all have been,

or

will be in the same boat-and it is NOT fun! Just remember this-there

are

women out there who will never be able to have a child of their own.

This is

not said to belittle how you feel, but it kept me hopeful during the IVF

round. I just kept thinking that it could be worse, and it could!

Don't take this as a " good luck next month " message, that is not what

you

need to hear! Just know that I am thinking of you all and praying that

your

prayers are answered before you give up, and don't you even think of

doing

that! No matter whether you are taking a few months off, going for

tests, or

just continuing to wait and live your life in two week cycles-your hope

is

what will keep you sane! Whether we adopt, try ART procedures, or

conceive

by the grace of God we still have each other, and that is what this is

all

about! Lean on us, ladies!

: Refresh me-what sort of testing have you had done since your

ep?

Tara: What kind of doctor are you seeing now?

Sonja: Keep your chin up!

SORRY if this was a rambling message-I am really trying to organize my

thoughts and it doesn't seem to be working!

Krista - I haven't had any testing since the ep. I had an hsg prior to the

ep and the doc said both tubes were clear...then the ep -

I see my regular OB/GYN. She is the one who followed up after my surgery

and did the hsg. Last summer she gave me the go ahead to ttc. Now that

I'm entering my 8th cycle since I stopped the bcp, I have put in a call to

her to see if we shouldn't get more aggressive. I'll keep you posted.

Remind Rico about all the embarrassing things women have to go

through-general GYN exams, what WE went through with our ectopics, and what

you WILL have to go through when you are pg again...

Dear Tara,

Mike had to do this once. The time I had my insemination. The R.E. gave me

a little sterile cup and I brought it home and handed it to him. He asked me

what this was for (as if he didn't know) and then his wheels started turning

and he was just thinking that I could *assist* him (sorry ladies).

Unfortunatley, that is not allowed due to contaimination. So, early the

morning of my appt. he grabbed the cup, shut the bathroom door and came out

about 10 minutes later. We never really spoke about too much more than that

and I dared not bring it up after.

I have already told him that he's got to do it atleast 2 more times when we

get closer to IVF time and he's more accepting now. I guess he figures that

we are spending $$$ and we can't get the job done without him!

Poor Rico! I would definitely law off... just tell him the date and

conveniently put the cup on the bathroom counter and drop it!
