Guest guest
Hello - Your situation is so similar to so many of us....scar tissue removed and now left with a great deal of uncertainty about our endometrial lining. I'm glad for you that you have been able to make the decision to " move on " and pursue adoption. And how exciting for you that you will be adopting as soon as next summer! I told another member earlier today, we know of 2 families that have adopted children from the east...one from Korea and one from China and they both have adorable little girls! I am preparing for my first attempt at IVF having " cleared " my uterus of adhesions and now hoping that I will have enough endometrium to support a pregnancy. I will be taking injectible progesterine and 8 micrograms of estrace and progesterine suppositories to help build-up a good lining this first month and we'll see what happens. If that doesn't work then we may try doing Viagra suppositories or trying estrace injectibles instead of the pills we'll see. But my husband and I, like you, have already decided that if we can't conceive and carry after a few tries at IVF, we will call it " quits " on our attempts to biologically expand our family and will instead pursue adoption like you. Thank you for sharing your story. (I have keloids as well by the way!) and welcome to the group! Gwen
