Had to stay the extra day because of vomiting but I got tocome home yesterday afternoon. I just can't handle the morphine, makesme sick every time even with the antinausea drugs. My doctor said therewas scar tissue everywhere so he had to take everything. At least Iwon't have any more problems with irregular bleeding and pain! Anyonehave any useful hints that doctor's never mention as far as recoverygoes? I am planning to move here in about 3 weeks and that is how longhe said I would have to take it easy. He was able to remove everythingthrough small incisions intravaginally so recovery should be easier. Iam not taking any pain meds as the pain really isn't that bad. Tylenolis strong enough to take the edge off. Hope everyone is ready for the little ghosts and goblins tonight! I amgoing to let my son handle that end of it! He went out on a hay ridewith his friends last night but I don't think he really enjoyed it. Hehates to get all dirty! Only time he doesn't mind getting dirty is whenhe is bike riding in the rain! Well, time to get back to a recliningposition. Guest guest
Hi Deb, Lori here. I certainly said a lot of prayers for you and someone was listening! I had a hyst also over 20 yrs ago. Back then they kept you for 7-10 days. I am sooo glad you are not in much pain. They say the vaginal one is a little easier. I had mine the other way. The only advice I can give you is probably what they told you in the hospital. Hug a pillow and cough. Even for at least antother week. Also doon't let anyone tell you your sex drive diminishes from a hyst. A total lie. My sex life increased after the husto. KNowing you cant get pregnant and just enjoying sex. Mael docs try and tell you that you will dry up.WRONG!! Just the opposite. I will continue praying for you my friend until you are all better from this surgery. Love LORI

YIKES It is not nearly enough. If you were just to get around easy and that would be reasonable time frame. I ended up with adhesions Big time because Lifted and did too much, too soon. Please Debbie take it slow. Sounds like a rough time, glad it is over. When you cough hold a pillow on your stomach tight. That's all from the know it all, and No I am not a non smoker! LOL Hugs and a pain free minute, Deb Listowner RSD-Crpsegroups
