Guest guest
Hi Trace, Lori here. I called my pain doc and made an appt for Oct. 27th. My reg doc will send the pain doc the results of all of the tests by then. I sure hope they get to the bottom of this fever though my doc says sometimes they never find what is causing it. But he is sure doing a lot of tests so I am keeping my fingers crossed about them finding the cause. When I go to the paini doc on the 27th, I am also going to talk to him about keeping in contact with my reg doc. I finally get to meet some other RSDers tonite!! I am so excited to meet some face to face. There is a meeting be held about 40 miles away tonite and my hubby is taking me. I am glad of that too so he can see others. It is one thing for me to tell him about other people with this disease but another for him to meet some. It looks like good weather too. Thanks for you kindness and concern. I appreciate it a lot. Guest guest
Hi, this is Lori. I know what you meean about hating all docs. When I use to work for the hospital I would get so mad at those docs and all of their mistakes. I worked in the ortho-neuro floor and saw a lot of mistakes. unfortunately we need them. You are in my prayers!! Love LORI
Guest guest
Lori, I think you should definitely call your doctor and tell him about this fever. Don't just live with it. A fever says something is wrong and you need to find out what it is. I would also call your pain doctor about your meds. Don't wait till your appointment. Do you take anti-depressants? I take them..2 in the am and 1 at bedtime. I also take Ambien for sleep. It helps alot. I don't sleep all night but at least I do get a couple of good hours which is better than none. I hope you are feeling better today. I think your doctors need to have more communication between them. You can't be added this extra stress and they need to know what one another is doing. Sending good thoughts your way and saying a prayer for you. Hugs, Tracey --- Lori Testo wrote: > > Hi everyone, this is Lori. Just got back from dos'c. > He drew 11 tubes > of blood. Guest guest
Hi Jai, Lori here. Yes low grade fever is a symptom of Lupus but the meds they have me on for Lupus takes care of the temp. The doc believes that this temp is from something else. Could even be from the lump in my breast. Doc took over $1000 of blood tests and should get those results on Friday. How are you doing anyway? You have been in my prayers and hoping you are having better days soon!! Love LORI
Guest guest
Hi Tracey. You said you dont of any other RSDers in your area? Does your doc have his office in your town? He might be able to give you some names. And sometimes if you call the Hospital they will have a list of RSDErs in your town. They are there, just need to find them!! Anything i can do to help, let me know!! Love LORI
