Guest guest
Thanks Lee Ann. How wonderful to see some pages of my site have made it into the list. ;-) I would like to comment on one thing though. > > Lead Line V/TTY: The Lead Line closed last year when Barbara Lincoln retired. House Ear did not continue the program. Last I heard (it's been a few months) they were considering whether to replace it with something else or not. I know this because Barbara Lincoln, till she retired, was on another list I belong to. If anyone has any updated info, please share it. Kay listenup@... Guest guest
> I would most certainly have incl MANY a link from you, and yours > so to speak. You've been at this so much longer.... But I do remember > reading about 'your privacy'. It can get a bit confusing, can't it? Anything on the public Listen-Up Web site anyone is free to link to and pass to others. The only time I don't like links shared is when it's a link to something on my private site. You can easly tell the difference by the URL. If it starts with http://www.listen-up.org/ you're free to share with anyone. http://lonestar.texas.net/~listenup/ then it's my private site. There are, however, a few exceptions to that. One is the Listen-Up Bookstore: http://lonestar.texas.net/~listenup/books/index.htm which I'm currently adding a few new books to and adding a page on Fiction for grownups (I already have a fiction page for kids). The books on that page all have at least one character in them that is deaf/hard of hearing. If you have any book suggestions for this page, now is the best time to send them. You're always free to send links to the Listen-Up Bookstore to anyone. I can think of a few other things on that site that it's OK to share info for so to make it simpler I'll just state that unless I say otherwise, you're free to share any links I send. ;-) Kay
