The silly thing is that by making arf12s unusable, it forces the people they were originally complaining about to continue posting arf12s type material on arna on into the future, instread of retiring to their own newsgroup. That's really dumb, isn't it. Oh well, modern recovery alternatives will continue to get a higher and higher media profile as time goes on. It is an idea whose time has come, and no angry 12 steppers will be able to stop it, no matter what they do. Some things are, by their nature, unstoppable. By clogging up the arf12s newsgroup they have literally forced the stuff to continue to appear in their own ng. I think this is what is colloquially called " shooting yourself in the foot " .
