Guest guest
Does anyone know if a 6cm subserosal fibroid can be removed hysteroscopically? I'm thinking its a long shot. I was desperately trying to avoid any surgical intervention but if I'm looking at general anesthesia for removal of a polyp hysteroscopically...I'm wondering if I should be looking at this. The darn doc hasn't mentioned a word about the fibroid...just a quick call back and pushing me into getting the polyp taken out. I don't have any probs with heavy bleeding. I guess I'm buying into a much bigger deal with having the fibroid removed with the risk of adhesions, heavy bleeding possibly requiring transfusion during surgery, don't know what happens to the uterine muscle after having it cut. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Holly
