I was thinking that maybe as a (semi?) regular posting under the subject

of Tips...that we could share whatever tips we have personally found to be

helpful/desirable...whatever...on pretty much anything (as I have had a

few different ones from time to time that I have meant to post as

<hopefully helpful> suggestions to other EDS'ers)

For example one that came to me as I read Barbs post about receiving

a warm blanket for her bd...was that I just got a new " blankie " as my bd

present too ...for this winter, and I think I'm gonna like it :)

It is called a Cuddle-Up Heated Throw made by Sunbeam, described as a

personal Monitoring System. It is basically simply an electric blanket

with a bit of a difference in that it doesn't feel warm to the " outside "

touch when on however, it is nice and toasty around you...It is designed

it says for people who don't neccessarily want a hot room but wish to be

warm when sitting (me!:)...and has some kind of " sensory " adjustment

" thing " which responds to the room temperature and heats up accordingly

....I have tried it out a couple of nights now and think that as winter

comes I am going to be glad to have it ...It is a soft acrylic throw qnd

is machine washable...anyway I don't know if all places have access to

it...but you can check for it if interested

Here in Canada it is on sale at London Drugs now through to Sept 23rd.

Regular price was $68. and it is on sale for $52. with another $15. mail

in rebate...so not a bad price..(for here :)
