My understanding is that Chemet IS DMSA. If anything, compounded

DMSA or the DMSA from VRP or Kirkman's is preferable because it is

packaged in a " veggie cap " and therefore free of the dyes and binders

used in the prescription Chemet. I suggest the brand you have chosen

to use may even be easier on the liver without these additives.

I think the DMSA is the same. The fillers or binders used

might be different. No one has reported any problems or issuees

with the VRP stuff. It is cheaper unless your insurance pays,

in which case you are probably better off with the Rx one.
