I always have considered the day of conception to be the day of O if I BD

before that day. Like you say, they can't get together before then anyway.

Now I know there are a lot of factors involved, especially if you also BD

after O or on the day (conception could technically be a day later or so)

but I just have always figured on the day of O. I don't guess we will ever

really know for sure, will we?

The day of conception, is the day that egg and sperm collide (had to

smile at that one) so it would practically be the day of ovulation.

I am so glad that you had such a good evening.I am still waiting to go

and see sixth sense. Hear it is good though.

Hi, all!

Well, DH and I changed our plans during his lunch yesterday. He has to

drive

for a jump tonight and he did not know when he would be getting back.

So he

skipped his class and we did the dinner and a movie thing last night

instead

of tonight. It was really nice. We went to the movie first bc we

figured

restaurants would not be as busy later. We went to see The Sixth Sense.

Has

anybody seen this? It's a little scary and a little gross. But the

ending

shocked me. Anyway. We went to dinner after, and the wait was only

about 5

minutes. I have had longer waits on " regular " days so that was good.

Last

night felt great, DH and I never go out. It was a nice change. I think

that, although it is a happy day and a sad day, the happy makes it

bearable.

It's not that I forget, but I have something else to focus on. So it

can

really be a happy day. Know what I mean?

We got home at about 11:00 last night, and we were both so exhausted.

Dh

fell asleep after about 5 minutes, and I followed him very shortly

thereafter. He handed me my thermometer at 5:45 this moring, he says I

took

it, but I don't remember that. I asked for it at 6:15 this morning and

it

was underneath me. My temp was up. 98.2 and it was 97.6 yesterday.

So, of

course, the one day we don't bd is the one day we should have. Maybe

the

other 3 days were effective. I have a question. Is the date of

conception

considered the day of bd, or is it on the day of ovulation, since they

can't

get together until then anyway? I am sure I know the answer, but I

thought

I'd ask anyway. Kind of hoping for a chance of conception on my

anniversary.

Well, today is day 17, so I have 15 days until I can test if AF does not

show

up. And that will be past a 12-14 day luteal phase. But not 18 days of

high

temps. I guess I should wait another 2 weeks before thinking about this

stuff, huh? So much for not really worrying about this month. I was

better

during the first half, I did not let all of this rule my life for the

last

two weeks, so maybe I'll be better during the next two weeks. I guess

it's

kind of ridiculous to expect to not be anxious. Right? I just won't

let it

run everything. That sounds reasonable, right?

Well, I'll stop going on and on and on ........
