Hi Donna, you are close to me. I am also in Orange County and had

my surgery with Dr.Pulver at St. ph in Orange. Who is your

surgeon?

I am sure it is a precaution and yes, I would rather have my

> own blood than someone else's.

Donna,

R/E: Blood issue...yes, it's a precaution. Every Doc has his

preferred method for HIS surgery he's preforming. I know Dr. Wyatt

very well, he takes EVERY precaution both before and after surgery.

Post surgery he will even make sure you have a 3/1 ratio for nursing

staff to keep a close eye on you.

No...not every surgeon takes every precautionary step, feeling it may

be unneccesary, BUT.... what if it were? I would rather have the

blood available and ready to go should I need it.

Many women are mildly anemic. Unless the anemia is severe (which

blood work would reveal) there shouldn't be a problem (an iron

supplement, taken with vit c at mealtime couldn't hurt to help boost

the blood cell production up before surgery)

, thanks for the news about Hoag. I have only heard good things

about it. Tell me you know and LIKE Wyatt and I will REALLY be

happy.

I have on my calendar to call you next week to order some of those

Zip N Squeeze, so you'll be hearing from me then.

(Seriously, let me know if you know Dr. Wyatt. I believe he has been

doing surgery there a LONG time.

I will tell them you said hello...maybe they'll treat me extra

special!!

Hi Donna, I am 11 weeks post-op and feeling great! It's been a wild

ride for the last 2 years but all so worth it. I LOVE my new profile.

>Donna,

Dr. Wyatt is great! Ask him if he remembers me coming into his office

years ago asking " what do you think of a squeezable feeding device

for our jaw surgery patients instead of syringe feeding?! " He was the

first surgeon I presented the idea too, the rest is history!

FYI: Ask for or for your admitting nurse! They work

early in the AM and are very good with IV's....LOL! (actually,

they're all good, but sarah's my best bud!)

Glad to help!

, That is so cool. I actually brought a copy of your product to

show him, but since we didn't get into the " surgery " part of it last

visit, I didn't bring it up. I wonder what he would've said if I had

brought it in....if he would have remembered you. Maybe I'll do that

and get his reaction. Apparently he LIKED the idea. Glad to hear

you think highly of him. I hear he is great at what he does.

I'll talk to you next week about your live-saving product!!! Donna

Donna,

Congradulations!!! I am sooo happy that you finally have a

surgery date! The surgery adventure begins...

Yes, I had to give blood for my upper/lower/genio surgery

also. Doc said because you lose so much blood during this

procedure. It was no big deal, painless, and took a total

of 30 minutes out of my time (it was so easy, I'm

starting to feel guilty that I don't donate blood ever...)

Anyway, I didn't need it, but it was nice to know it

was there.

Thanks . I'm glad it's not a big deal. I was just a little

concerned about donating and then fainting after the procedure. Do

you remember how much you donated? The girl in my surgeon's office

did say you lose a lot of blood. I really don't want to think about

that.

Thanks again, Donna
