Guest guest Posted July 2, 2007 Report Share Posted July 2, 2007 I have become saturated!!! Between websites, this group and YANA I have learned a great deal this past week. Tomorrow afternoon we see the urologist for second biopsy results. Friday my spouse will see another urologist for a second opinion. I have not seen anyone posting here nor a case history on YANA who has had CyberKnife treatment. We are very interested in this modality--it is not invasive, short treatment time and targeted to the tumors, thus removing the risk of most side effects of traditional radiation or brachytherapy. I called their information line (this is for Naples, Florida) and learned a great deal about the procedure. They specialize in this procedure there and have been using it for PCa for 4 years, over 200 cases. Only one recurrence in those men. Thanks to all who are encouraging me to keep up my quest!
