Guest guest
A group to provide support and information for Lewy Body Dementia caregiversDear Imogene I have been a member of this list for about a year and while I am still not quite ready to talk about where we are in the LBD journey, I want you and others to know how much I have learned from, identified with and empathized with the others here, and how much help you all have already been to me. But especially you, Imogene. I tell people about you. People you will never know. I have found strength and grace in your posts and want you to know that not only have you been there for Don you have also been there for many people who read, but are still holding their own struggles close to the chest. We may not be ready to speak up in a public forum, but I know that many of us have been touched and uplifted by your openess and kindness. This awful disease creates in all of us, a myriad of conditions that should also be considered a new disease. Caregiving. Blessings to you and Don. You have earned a rest, and so has he. And thank you for your giving heart. Deb (57) Husband (80) diagnosed with LBD, 2009, probable Alzheimers 2010 after many years of showing increasing symptoms.
