Guest guest
..........what was the zyprexa suppose to do for you? A person I take care of uses zyprexa as a mood stabilizer..........2.5mg mornings and 5mg evenings........can't say it has helped him but I can tell you it causes his eyes to roll up into his head..............not what wew were looking for! Anyways, I too was dealing with feelings of aggression/anger and finally someone ( my endo) put it all together and figured out it was the high level of testosterone my body is making ( OH! I am female!) So now he has me on 5mg of Proscar every morning and I feel like a new woman............he said the high testosterone caused the awful hair growth on my face, arms, stomach.........well you get the picture. After three weeks of this med I began to feel better. Now this drug is definately NOT for anyone in their child bearing years, this drug can not be handled by anyone pregnant or who hopes to become pregnant. This drug is for men with prostrate cancer.......it blocks the absorption of testosterone. Just food for thought. Guest guest
The zyprexa was supposed to be a mood stablizer for me, also. It made me more tense. I have trouble with meds and am allergic to a whole bunch of them. No one has ever said anything to me about any type of feminine-type drugs. I don't think this could be my problem, because my mom was Slovak and had body hair, but I have very little. I don't shave my legs at all. Never have. My boys aren't that hairy either, but my husband has tons of it. Thanks for telling me what helped you. I think when I do find another doctor, I'll ask about feminine-type drugs. --- Donna wrote: > ..........what was the zyprexa suppose to do > for you? Guest guest
I have bad reactions to meds too. So much so that they don't like to change mine any more than possible. We had a hard time with BP meds. They have my resistance down so much that my allergies jumped up and now I am on a ton of allergy meds also. As for the lack of shaving legs, I am lucky that way too, but for us it is the Indian blood that keeps us from having a lot of hair. My brother is 37 and still can't grow a decent mustache or any beard. Looks like a teenager's peach fuzz. lol Re: zyprexa and proscar > The zyprexa was supposed to be a mood stablizer for > me, also.
