Guest guest
I keep 2 Pooh soap dispensers (my bathroom is all in Winnie the Pooh stuff - my 2nd childhood you see is in full force), a nail brush, a figurine of an old woman who was a retired schoolteacher and is a hoot, about 4 perfume bottles, a spray bottle of water for those cowlicks on my head, my pedometer when it is not in use, a copy of Prevention magazine for "quality throne time", a letter from TOPS pal and a small stack of photos of me when I was heavy heavy, on the way down, and when I was a KOPS the first time - want to add more to this stack. Our Barbara Reese and I are in one picture taken long ago at retreat and I cherish it; funny though, we look younger then - LOL. My plan is to get one of those rolladex type photo display things and thus have these readily available to flip through every time I go into the "office" just to serve as a visual reminder of where I've been and where I am now. It does help me to focus as I know that anyone who comes in will snoop through the stack and that is okay too; this helps nearly as much as saying the TOPS pledge when I wash my hands. Now if I am in a hurry to go somewhere there are all sorts of other things on the counter but I do try to put them away after I'm done -- silly not to do so as I am lucky enough to have many available drawers for these personal items. Kinda depends on when you look in my bathroom as to what you will find. LOL -- sometimes it is pitiful, other times, it is neat and tidy. Oh, I also keep a candle there to light my weigh. Depending on the season too, I may have a decorative item on display as well. My husband has his own bathroom, thank goodness, and it is all golf stuff but you know who does the tidying up there although he's pretty good about putting away his things which I do appreciate. My bathroom serves the whole house though, so I try to do a better job of keeping it presentable. Betty Leader, KOPS Under GoalRemember, the only weight you ever have to lose is the next pound.
