Bravo! Don didn't need the AM as it made him groggy. He was pleasant up

until we had to admit him again.

can cause death or can cause strokes. So she did up it at night to 50 mg.

She's on Seroquel 25mg AM and 50mg PM now. She sees the dr. in 3 months.

In meantime if she gets worse, she said she can up it in the afternoon.

But right now she wants to see if this will work.

This is outrageous! There are good doctors out there. We had one that was

bad, and indifferent, or down right uneducated. We left him when he gave the

wrong medicine, without knowing the disease.

I sure am sorry about your experience,

i would notify insurance company, as seeing a pa isnt billed the same and make

sure that they arent billing that you see the doctor,  what a shame,  i hope

you can find a neuro that cares,m hugs. sharon

I am the daughter of Leonard whom was diagnosed in May 2004 and  he died of

complicatons *blood pressure started dropping and wouldn't recover* on Sept 25,

2005. He had bad case of Dr Jekyl/Mr Hyde scenarios. He was showing

hallucinations and falling issues since prior to 1994. We moved in to take care

of him Jan 19, 2003 and still live in his house. And in feb 2009, i have been

diagonosed with 99% probability of lbd. Hoping that a cure or treatment will be

found before it's too late for me.

It is the entire medical profession...

The doctors pick and choose what part of the patient's life they want to be

involved in. I had a neurosurgeon that did two different surgies and that is

what he did the surgery...alll the office visits...got it PA.

The walk in clinic that I used to go to all the time in California...the head

doctor was my Primary Care Physician but many days at this clinic people just

see the PA. That was OK with me...but

When you go to a specialist...there is a reason you want to go to that

specialist. I was told once that the PA can do everything except surgery...well

neurologists don't do surgery, do they? I could be very wrong.

My spine surgeon here just recently got a PA in his office....but this is the

way that it goes there. I get called in from the waiting room into an

examination room...the PA comes in and talks to me and I guess takes notes on

the general subjects...but then the actual spine surgeon comes in after that and

he doesn't have to do all the petty note-taking of more general nature but he

talks to me, he will prod and have me do range of motion if necessary, etc.

That way is very good in my book.

Hi ,

Your mom may not need the AM one or you can half it for AM and afternoon if you

find your mom gets too sleepy through out the day.

Best,
