Guest guest
Hi , IV Steroids might help ON, only a might for a short time, many who have lived with MS for years no differently. Search Engines used to give info on all drugs, when the drug companies got big they were stopped. Looking back in my archives, scary reading but many like to know the truth. One of the common side effects stated, Vascular Necrosis most often in the hip or shoulder. Is this why I have this agonising nerve pain in my shoulder, 15 years later? (UK) Hi everyone, thanks for the feedback, opinions, and experiences re optic neuritis treatment. I am still evaluating my vision (where I had the pain behind the left eye for several hours 2 nights ago) and trying to figure out what to do--using everyone's input as well to help figure it out. So far I don't think there is any vision decline in the left eye, but as I noted, it is very concerning because my left eye is my only good eye. (I can barely see with my right eye secondary to ON in the right eye a year ago). As of right now I am not going to do the IV steroids for the left eye. However, if I feel an acute decline in the vision of that eye I think I will do the IV steroids, because I would be basically blind if that happens--and I am willing to endure the consequences/risks of one round of IV steroids for the chance to not end up blind. Well anyway, thanks again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
